ISA AWARDS FINALISTS

We are delighted to announce that Salterford House has been shortlisted for Independent Junior School of the Year at this year’s ISA Awards.

Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly to improve outcomes for all our pupils. This commitment was recognised as a key strength during our iSI Inspection in November 2024. Our school community continues to grow each term, and we are proud to have introduced The Hive—a dedicated space designed to support children with additional needs.

Alongside this, we have expanded our curriculum to offer exciting new opportunities. Pupils now take part in THUNKS, a lesson that challenges thinking skills and encourages deeper questioning. We also run THRIVE, a mental health programme where children shape their own learning, choosing from a wide range of activities such as dance, British Sign Language, knitting, chess, and more. Most recently, we have added gardening to the timetable, giving children the chance to develop practical life skills while connecting with nature.

We are thrilled that all these developments have been recognised as worthy of a finalist place. The winner will be announced on 11th November at the ISA Autumn Study Conference Dinner.
